GreyCircle is an established learning and development brand that knows exactly who they are and who they serve. However, their existing visual identity wasn't accurately reflecting the warmth, high energy, and deep trust they build with ambitious organisations. The goal of this brand refresh was to amplify their clarity and move their visual narrative into a fresher and more inclusive space.
A deep-dive brand audit revealed several critical roadblocks holding the brand back from its full potential. A heavy reliance on dark greys gave the identity an unintended, male-leaning tone that felt disconnected from their inclusive, people-focused energy. Beyond the mood, technical elements needed refining: overused capitalisation for long sentences impacted readability, while low-contrast pairings fell short of modern accessibility standards.
We completely overhauled the identity to align with their core philosophy: “Developing people isn’t black & white.” We replaced the heavy, dark tones with bright white & subtle greys, whilst updating their vibrant, energetic yellow to create a fully accessible colour palette. An entirely custom illustration system and iconography set expands the new identity, ensuring every graphic element feels intentional rather than like an add-on. This seamless visual toolkit flows across a completely redesigned, human-centric website and a dynamic launch animation - establishing a brand that feels both trusted by corporate leaders and energised by modern design.
